Our Story…

LET Electrical & Renewables was founded by Lewis in 2019 just before the COVID pandemic started, during the COVID pandemic Lewis grew the company during troubling times by building relationships with private customers and landlords in the Poole and Bournemouth area.

Lewis has now been an electrician for over 10+ years, he first started his apprenticeship with a local company in Bournemouth completing new build and commercial based projects. Once Lewis was certified he became a contract manager, managing multiple electrical engineers on large projects throughout Dorset.

During and after the pandemic Lewis grew a team of great employees and engineers by giving our customers a great service at a reasonable price. Lewis initially hired Kieran and provided comprehensive training, facilitating in his qualification.

Following Kieran’s qualification, Marley joined as our latest apprentice and continues to develop alongside the company every day.

Lewis and his team underwent training in Solar PV, Battery storage, and EV charger installation shortly after the pandemic concluded, and have since been installing and implementing these technologies.

Thank you to Lewis and his team for their admirable work installing my solar panels. I was kept updated at all times and Kieran and Marley worked long hours ensuring the work was done to a high spec and as speedily as possible. The scaffolders employed were also superb, A1. Everyone was super-polite and respectful.I'm looking forward to sorting out the final paperwork and going on grid with my mini supply!Would and will recommend LET Electrical & Renewables unreservedly to anyone.

Not overly thrilled. Recently called them to come and do a few jobs around the house, including installing new spotlights which would involve drilling into a wall. I had the new lights and the new switch. I explained all this on the phone and was told along with the other jobs, the best thing to do was charge by the hour. When they got here they looked at the the lights, ummed and arred for a while then said they'd have to send me a quote. The other jobs were getting an outdoor plug working...which had just been switched off somewhere and replacing an outdoor door light which I also supplied. They also spent 15 minutes seeing if they could find why a fuse couldn't stay on which I asked them to do. They didn't find why. So in the end I was charged £168 to change a door light and flip a socket switch.

We use Let Electrical on our conservatory installs and can definitely recommend this company, fantastic work, polite, clean and tidy customer communication is also great with a automated text message confirming arrival times so our customers know exactly when to expect them on site. Lewis carried out my job which was reapplying hall lights back on to walls and replacing face switches for new. He was very punctual, friendly and courteous. When completed the job he ensured everything was tidied and I was happy with the work he had done. I shall use this company again and I highly recommend them. They are value for money and workmanship is excellent.

We would highly recommend Lewis and his team for solar panel and battery power installation.Lewis is so knowledgeable, helpful and informative and we felt confident going ahead with the installation.The team were friendly and courteous and kept disruption to a minimum. What I loved most was the team's attention to detail (especially hiding cables so well in the house I didn't even notice them).The team worked incredibly hard and we're genuinely a great team who we would happily recommend!The solar panels and batteries are incredible and are already working well and cutting our energy bills ☀️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We would highly recommend and am more than satisfied with the services provided by LET Electrical & renewables.Right from the initial introduction to Lewis and his services he was very informative and he patiently listened and answered all questions.Lewis handled all paperwork and assisted with the finance application and kept us updated at every stage of the order and installation.On the day of the installation Lewis and his team were very efficient and patient with us and the dogs! and kept everywhere very tidy as they worked. On finishing took all rubbish and insured that we understood how the solar panels and batteries worked and set us up with the app to view the savings (Which becomes addictive).

Well what can I say that uses most of the superlatives in the English language. LET have shown that professionalism still exists in todays business world. The owner (Lewis) believes in communication with his customers, the fitter Kieran, was a very knowledge and able individual, who was tidy in his work and, took the time to explain how the Zappi unit operated and added the App to my phone, which helped immensely. All the team are polite, courteous and respectful and nothing is too much trouble. If you need a company you can trust then LET Electrical & Renewables should be the only call you should make.

Lewis and Marley made a great job of installing our EV charger, He came a week before to do a survey and give plenty of good advice which for a newbie was reassuring. hey arrived on time made a neat job and cleaned up after themselves and supplied the relevant information to the authorities.I would highly recommend LET Electrical & Renewables

Lewis and Marley came out initially to do an electrical check on my new property. They were punctual, clearly highly qualified and answered all my silly questions with great patience! Since then I’ve asked them back to do further work. Under cupboard lighting, replacing smoke alarms, fitting external light and installing bathroom LED mirror. This time it was Kieran, another very knowledgeable, helpful and personable young man. I would be very happy to use this great team again and would highly recommend them.

Outside light and new junction box fitted - neat job completed in good time in adverse weather conditions by personable electricians and at a reasonable price. Old fittings removed and site left tidy. Would not hesitate to use LET again.

I recently had LET Electrical Services to replace two ceiling light fittings and a light switch in garage.Arranging an appointment was straight forward, I was given a quotation of how much it would be to have the work done before confirming the appointment and upon agreement the appointment was made straight away.I received an email confirming all details we had made.The day before the appointment I received a telephone call from the company’s admin clerk confirming again their attendance the next day.On the appointment day I received a message informing me that the electrician was on his way and he arrived at the time we had agreed.Lewis the electrician carried out the work efficiently and professionally and had total respect for my property leaving the area he had worked in a clean state.It was a pleasure dealing with a company who are efficient and professional in their dealings with their customers this type of service is hard to find in the present climate.

Lewis and his team did a great job and were very professional and polite. They fitted electrics including sockets and lighting to a new cabin in our garden. They also tracked down a fault we had in the house, which was unexpected but happened just before they arrived and they were more than happy to sort this for us at the same time. Would definitely recommend and use again.
